HA Volunteers: Let’s Make a Home-Cooked Meal for Families in Need

About the Event

At Her Again, we believe in the power of women coming together to make a positive impact on our community. The “Dinnertime Heroes” program at Ronald McDonald House is a fantastic opportunity to do just that. We’ll be preparing a home-cooked meal for families in need, giving them a taste of comfort during challenging times.

Date: Friday, December 8, 2023

Time: Meal prep between 5 and 6 p.m. | Dinner served at 6 p.m.

Location: Ronald McDonald House – Roanoke Campus | 501 E. Roanoke Ave., Phoenix, 85004

What to Expect:

• – Menu Planning: We’ll plan the menu as a team.
  
• – Food and Drink: We’ll supply everything, from food and drinks to disposable plates, cups, utensils, and plastic storage containers.
  
• – Serve 30-40 People: We’re here to make a significant impact, aiming to serve 30-40 people. Please note that the actual number of family members attending a meal may vary.
  
• – On-Site Meal Prep: The kitchen at Ronald McDonald House is fully equipped with all the cooking necessities, making meal prep a breeze.

Volunteering with Her Again is a fantastic way to pay it forward, make connections, and trust in each other’s abilities. Our events are 100% friendly and welcoming – designed especially for you to come alone and leave with new friends.

Join us on December 8 for an evening that will make a difference in the lives of others. Together, we’ll alleviate food insecurity and lift another worry from the shoulders of families with children receiving treatment in our area medical facilities.
