The Process

My Coaching Process Is a Path to Self-Discovery and Change

My Approach

Midlife can be a time of messiness, joy, and transformation. And the coaching process is no different. With an emphasis on self-awareness and responsibility generated through active listening and powerful questions, I offer women in midlife a path to self-discovery rooted in the heart of what second acts stand for.

Uncover What You Want

Challenge
When facing midlife, thinking about the future can leave you feeling vulnerable, anxious, and stuck.

Insight
Although this uncertain period of time can be uncomfortable, it offers an opportunity for you to learn about your strengths and explore what you truly want out of life.

How We’ll Work Together
We’ll spend sufficient time identifying, creating, and setting goals that move you from inspiration to action and that align with who you truly are.

Scope
• Identify and clarify your goal
• Understand your aim and aspiration
• Clarify the desired result

Clarify Your Reality

Challenge
You have a measure of control over what you believe, but what you are unaware of controls you and how you move through midlife.

Insight
When your reality is clear, your next chapter comes into sharper focus.

How We’ll Work Together
We’ll focus our attention on determining your current situation and explore any limiting beliefs and fears that are keeping you stuck so you can move forward with openness and clarity.

Scope
• Assess your current situation
• Clarify the results and effects of previous actions
• Understand internal obstacles and blocks

Explore Options, Expand Creativity

Challenge
Every time you think of an idea on how you might move forward, your inner critic shows up to let you know all the reasons it isn’t going to work.

Insight
Breaking out of self-limiting assumptions frees you to navigate midlife in new ways.

How We’ll Work Together
We’ll get the creative juices flowing by brainstorming all of the options available to you (and then come up with one more!) in a safe environment free of false assumptions.

Scope
• Identify possibilities and alternatives
• Outline strategies for success
• Map strategies for next steps

Create a Plan of Action

Challenge
You have a lot of things on your to-do list, but nothing ever seems to happen and you feel guilty, make excuses, or procrastinate.

Insight
When you have the intention, will, and responsibility to navigate your next chapter, you are truly committed to action.

How We’ll Work Together
I’ll hold you accountable for what you say you’re going to do and when you say you’re going to do it, and I’ll check in on your progress so you can continue to learn and grow.

Scope
• Define actions and timeframe
• Outline possible obstacles
• Review progress and explore feedback
