Step into the world of two incredible female artists at our docent-guided art exhibit tour and afterglow event at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 9, at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA) in Scottsdale. It’s the perfect opportunity to unwind, connect with like-minded women, and enjoy a creative escape from your week.

Here’s What’s Happening

We’ll be exploring two art exhibits under the expert guidance of Jennifer McCabe, director and chief curator at SMoCA.

• 1. “Beyond Performance,” Los Angeles-based performance artist Tiffany Trenda’s provocative series that blurs the lines between performance art and artificial intelligence.
• 2. “Oleaje” (Groundswell), where San Francisco-based, Bolivian-born artist Carolina Aranibar-Fernández’s installations map the intricate and hidden impacts of global trade.

After soaking up some inspiration, we’ll take a short walk to a nearby restaurant to discuss the exhibits (and whatever else!) over bites and beverages.

This event is perfectly crafted for women over 40, especially if you’re stepping out solo or trying something new with us for the first time. Our community is here to make sure everyone feels welcome, connected, and part of something special.
